Hello, Big Sky!

On Saturday, December 1st we flew out of Little Rock in the afternoon and to Denver, Colorado.  We then had a short layover and then boarded our plane to Bozeman, Montana.

When we arrived in Bozeman around 10 p.m. we were shocked by the airport.  It was spectacular!  I've never been in an airport where there are cozy fireplaces, dinosaur sculptures, metal work in the form of birds flying high and wood-beamed ceilings.  It felt like we were at a mountain lodge!  Beautiful!

We grabbed our luggage and rental car and hit the road after a quick stop at Wal-Mart for some food.  The condo owner had told us that there would be nothing open in Big Sky, so we should shop before we drove.

The road from Bozeman to Big Sky was like a snake.  It is a scary drive at night, especially when you must watch for bears, moose, elk, buffalo and wolves on the highway!

We arrived at our condo and we were pleased.  We had two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a kitchen and living room.  Plenty of room for the three of us!  We headed to bed so we could check out the mountain the next day!
