Authentic Mexican

Friday night we were invited to Andrea and Daani's house for some authentic Mexican food prepared by their mother Lily.  It was very good!  Here is what she prepared for us to try!

Tostadas

Corn tortillas fried flat and hard topped with refried beans, beef, potatoes, peas, tomatoes, lettuce, avocado and cheese.

 Green tomatoes, lime juice, jalapeno peppers

After we ate, we played the game of Quelf with the family.  The game got quite crazy.  I had to wrap my head like a mummy with toilet paper.  Jule had to stand and point to the sky until her next turn.  Mike had to "baaaa" like a sheep any time someone drew a card.  Those were just some of the odd things we had to do.  Jule can explain the game to you when she returns.
